Peter over at Mormon Matters has opened my eyes to quite another segment of Mormonism. I have met or corresponded with those who I think fit very well in this category.

Hmmmmmm…not sure what to say, Todd…
My perspective . . .
Christian fundamentalism is clear.
Christian neo-fundamentalism is clear.
Orthodox Christianity is clear.
Contemporary American evangelicalism and neo-evangelicalism are not clear in presentation.
Mormon fundamentalism is clear.
Mormon neo-fundamentalism is sort of clear.
Orthodox Mormonism is clear.
Contemporary American mormonism and neo-mormonism are not clear in presentation.
And to my LDS friends, the fundamentals of historic evangelicalism are not in the same ballpark with the fundamentals of historic mormonism. We can see that by the clear, historical presentations.
But today, theological doctrine in America, is becoming more and more a free for all.
I must say, this so called neo-fundamentalist stuff is pretty weird, in my opinion.
Weird, indeed, Andrew, but this sort of “fundamentalism” is not “neo” and is not confined to Mormonism.
